Every animal I sell has been bred by myself in the UK

Marcus Langford has had remarkable success in keeping and breeding a number of different types (or 'species') of reptiles over many years - since 1983 in fact.

He is one of a small but dedicated band of animal breeders who work hard to look after their animals for 365 days of the year, who put the health and wellbeing of their animals first and foremost, and as a result of his commitment regularly breeds his tortoises and chameleons.

He usually has young tortoises and chameleons available to buy at most times of the year. Marcus does not 'buy and re-sell' reptiles - every tortoise or chameleon he sells has been bred by himself.

As someone who has marvelled at the wonder of nature in action since his youngest days Marcus is always thrilled when a new baby tortoise or chameleon emerges into the world and to this day remains a passionate enthusiast at heart.

Encouraging and passing on that enthusiasm to new owners is one of the most satisfying aspects of what Marcus does. Marcus expects every animal he sells to do well and to thrive for their new owner, and encourages all owners of his animals to contact him for ongoing advice to ensure that they do. As a genuine private breeder Marcus believes that the welfare of his animals is the top priority and that by supporting owners of his animals in this way the experience of owning one of Marcus’ animals will be enjoyable and problem free.
